All we were aiming for was to catch a bit of Maria's storytelling on camera this morning. What we ended up with was just priceless.....wait for it....the ending is too cute. You'll have to tell us what you hear her say :)

Thirteen Months and counting...
The munchkin will be 13 months old tomorrow! She has become a walking, talking machine this last four weeks. We think this is partly due to her time at the dayhome. Seeing other kids walk and talk has been great motivation for Maria. She also seems to enjoy her time with Mom and Dad a lot more too.
Of course, hanging out with other kids and walking around is not without its dangers. Last week Maria was sporting her first "shiner" (okay maybe just her first big scrape). She's one tough little girl though, and despite the bruises and scrapes she seems to acquire at the dayhome, she still loves going there.
She also had the opportunity to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Betke this last month. She enjoyed the visit and will hopefully have more time with them again soon. She was even able to help Grandpa open up his birthday present (afterall she had a lot of practice just two weeks earlier).
