Almost One

It's less than two weeks until my baby turns 1! As cliche as it is to say it, time sure does fly. Maria's curiousity increases by the day. She has discovered drawers and cupboards in the kitchen so the majority of my kitchen utensils and containers spend a good deal of time on the kitchen floor. But if it keeps her happy, I'll go with it.



Maria will have her trial run at the dayhome mext week, going for just an hour and a half in the mornings to play with the other kids. I'm sure she will do just fine, it's probably her mom that will have the problems.



The only other big news is that in February Maria had another two boys added to her extended family. Her second cousin Reese was born on the 6th of February and her cousin Benjamin was born on the 14th. Unfortunately, Maria has yet to meet either of them due to illness in our family. Hopefully we will have opportunity to meet them both very soon.
